MU Premier League

The first-ever Moi University Premier League (MUPL) at Main Campus is set to kick off on 29th at the Pavilion Grounds , The 3rd Eye has confirmed. The comrades will now kiss away boredom as it is staged throughout this semester. According to the Sports Director Mr. Brian Mukolwe, the tournament will be an inter-school soccer championship.

The competition is expected to attract all football giants. The winners will carry chunks of hefty prizes. Trophies, medals and cash awards will be rewarded to the outstanding teams. He has however stressed that the Ladies will not be left behind. The ladies will throw their hat in the ring come October.

The Former T.S.A Treasurer set his record straight that he wants to revamp the malfunctioned and moribund docket. He has called on comrades to come out in large numbers to support this worthy cause. To promote integrity, the outspoken hockey player promised to work with a Governing Council Commission to be comprised of students.

This comes in awake of radical surgery in the sports. The Former vibrant Muso Sports office holder Mr. Brian MacBinji introduced new game kits among other facilities. It will remain to be seen whether comrades will now smile.

Inter-school Competition

Football giants are expected to lock horns in the forth coming inter-school competition . The tournament scheduled to kick off from 21st to 27th of this month will bring together players from all schools in Main Campus. Overall winners will part with a bull and other hefty prices.

Event organizer and School Team Coach (MU F.C) Mr. Tom Kaudo also confirmed that launching of the tournament will take place at the Students Centre on Friday (19th Aug) at 4:00pm where polling of the teams will be done. According to Kaudo the theme of the tournament is identifying and nurturing talent, as he will use the occasion to select players who will represent the varsity in major tournaments like inter-university competitions.
