TEACHERS FEARS THE STAFF

School of Education loses all three points to the staff team in Moi University Premier League at Ngeria Ground. According to the FIFA rules the threshold could not allow the kick off. Staff side led by their captain Dominic, they were all kept waiting. Only five players showed up in the clash.

“Our players were held up in the training in the preparation for the other tournament outside the Campus”, one Edu player was quoted as saying. He reiterated that he would marshal more squad. “It’s sad that we keep losing points yet we have the best players around”, he said.

Meanwhile, Information Scientists continued their winning spree with a 2-0 goal victory over the School of Arts. Strikers Edwin Ouma and Edwin Odong’o scored each apiece to top the table with six points in the controversial match. The match Referee called off three offside goals causing ripples.

“We are happy that we won but match officiating needs to be worked on because our two goals were swallowed, said the IS captain Omar. There was drama as Arts Players could not bear more goals as they forced the referee to blow the final whistle. Most of them left the field at dying minutes of the second half on Wednesday.

Today Engineers will face Economists in the must win fixture in Pavilion Grounds at 4.30pm. School of Economics will have to thrash the tough Tech team to boost their chances of “surviving”.

Champions League
